Cabot Wealth Management Becomes First Customer To Leverage Ridgeline Intelligent Outcomes

Massachusetts-based firm opts into Ridgeline’s innovative AI-powered managed services model

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev., Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ridgeline, the AI-native platform for modern investment management, today announced that Cabot Wealth Management has gone live on Ridgeline Intelligent Outcomes, becoming the first firm to use Ridgeline's new AI-assisted managed service offering in production. Cabot’s adoption of Intelligent Outcomes comes a year after the Beverly, Massachusetts-based wealth manager first switched operations to the core Ridgeline platform.

Founded in 1983, Cabot Wealth Management currently manages approximately $1.2 billion in assets across roughly 1,800 accounts for high-net-worth clients, offering investment management, financial planning, and tax services in house. The firm has been live on Ridgeline's unified platform for over a year, having consolidated CRM, trade order management, portfolio accounting, and client reporting that were previously handled across multiple disconnected systems.

Initially, the firm was seeking a better solution for its two biggest needs: client reporting for high-net-worth households and a trade order management system that could handle blended equity and fixed-income accounts. After several years evaluating other technology, the choice was clear. “Ridgeline could take us into the future instead of just moving sideways," said Sonia Ernst, Managing Partner at Cabot.

From the beginning, the Cabot team viewed Ridgeline as a long-term partner, rather than a one-time software purchase. The idea of Ridgeline Intelligent Outcomes taking over management of some of its daily operations appealed as a way to free up capacity.

When the firm's sole reconciliation specialist left unexpectedly, Cabot faced a common key person conundrum: should they invest the time and resources to retrain someone new only to risk losing them? And then we had an employee leave before we were expecting it."

To prepare for the switch, the Ridgeline team shadowed Cabot’s morning process until it was ready to run the process independently. The transition went smoothly, with no disruptions to Cabot’s operations.
