EMUCON 2026 is a security conference organised by Emu Exploit, a Perth-based Australian Capture the Flag team, bringing together offensive security practitioners and researchers for a programme built entirely from an open call for papers.
The 2026 lineup opens with a keynote from Kylie Robison-style Australian offensive security voice on "Quietly World-Class: The Australian Offensive Security Ecosystem," alongside talks released in successive waves covering exploit development, web security, and hands-on technical research.
Growing out of the local Perth Socialware community and Emu Exploit's active CTF circuit, EMUCON keeps its focus on practitioner-led, community-driven content rather than vendor sponsorship, giving Australia's offensive security community a dedicated home-grown conference.
